Free native macOS workspace

One workspace.
Every subscription.

Choose the right subscription or local model for the work, keep your project in one place, and hand tasks to another agent without starting over.

Grok Imagine · Local library

Create something
worth keeping.

Browse existing creations from this Mac, organize them by project, and send new prompts through your connected Grok runtime.

Context preserved. Switched to Codex.

Subscriptions, local models, and workflows

Your models,
under one roof.

modeload launches supported runtimes installed on your Mac, discovers local Ollama and LM Studio models, and can dispatch explicit background work to Tasklet. No browser-cookie scraping. No invisible fallback to pay-per-use APIs.

Explicit handoff

Built for real project work

Change the model.
Keep the momentum.

A shared workspace keeps the conversation, current plan, and compact Git context together—while each provider retains its own resumable session.

Automatic handoff, only when it matters

Move between eligible subscription runtimes only after an explicit allowance limit, with an optional local-model fallback. Tasklet remains a deliberate background handoff; login and network errors never trigger a silent switch.

You decide what agents can do

A consistent control layer maps to each runtime’s native permission behavior.

A home for Grok Imagine

Create without leaving the project.

Generate images or video through Grok Build, then keep everything you create in a dedicated local library alongside your work.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

Does modeload include model access?

No. modeload is free orchestration software. You install and sign into each supported provider runtime using an eligible subscription or plan you already have. Subscriptions, limits, and availability remain controlled by each provider.

Are my provider credentials sent to modeload?

No central modeload service receives them. Authentication remains with the official or supported local runtimes on your host Mac, and subscription credentials are never sent to a remote Mac or Android device.

Can I import my existing Grok Imagine projects?

Not currently. The Imagine section keeps a persistent local library of media generated through modeload; Grok account-side project history is not exposed through the Grok Build runtime used by this research release.

Why are GLM and Claude marked experimental?

Those connectors use local plan-aware runtimes, but provider protocols and subscription accounting can change. Treat them as research integrations and confirm your plan’s current terms and limits before relying on automatic handoff.

Can modeload run free local models?

Yes. Run Ollama or LM Studio on your Mac, select a discovered model in Settings, and modeload creates an isolated Grok Build profile that points only at that local OpenAI-compatible endpoint. It does not alter your normal Grok configuration or use a metered provider key.

What does the Tasklet connector do?

It sends an explicit project-task handoff to a Tasklet HTTPS inbound webhook and records whether the workflow accepted it. Tasklet is excluded from automatic allowance routing because its execution, progress, and billing remain controlled by your Tasklet workspace.

How do I reach my Mac away from home?

Enable Remote Access on the host Mac and copy its pairing link. Open Remote on another Mac and paste it, or scan the QR code on Android. modeload uses the direct LAN route nearby and automatically switches to its HTTPS relay elsewhere.
